HOW IT WORKS
A simple, transparent 3-step process:
Connect
We learn about your programme, your learners, and your learning objectives.
01

Collaborate
We work closely with your teams, help prepare your learners, and coordinate all assessment arrangements.
02
Assess
Our trained, experienced assessors deliver fair, focused assessments – with clear feedback and no surprises
03

We know that Assessment is more than a tick-box exercise. It’s a pivotal moment – for learners, for programmes, and for the people responsible for both.
That’s why everything we do is designed to bring:
-
Clarity to the process
-
Confidence to the outcome
-
And humanity to the experience
We're proud to support training providers and employers across England in delivering assessments that are rigorous, fair, and above all – elevating.

OUR EVOLUTION
We began as an End Point Assessment organisation — but the sector evolved, and so did we.
Today, EPA means something new to us: Excellence in Professional Assessment.
It’s not just a rebrand. It’s a realignment with what we believe Assessment should be:
Measured. Supportive. Future-focused. Never transactional.
We’ve moved beyond box-ticking and compliance for compliance’s sake. We help partners lead with quality, credibility, and care.
Employers who need reliable assessment outcomes they can trust to make informed workforce decisions.
OUR MISSION
To raise the standard of Assessment – one partnership at a time.
Learners who deserve to feel confident, respected, and prepared.
Training providers who want a trusted partner to support and enhance their programmes.
Our mission is simple: Deliver assessments that do justice to the effort everyone puts in. Because when assessments are done well, they don’t just validate learning – they support meaningful futures.
WHO WE WORK WITH
We work with training providers and employers who are passionate about quality.
They’re value-driven. They care deeply about their learners. And they choose us because we do too.

The team uphold the highest standards in the quality assurance of their practice which gives us complete confidence in them. They communicate with us openly and regularly and have provided a high level of support to us and our apprentices in navigating what is a difficult and highly stressful element of the provision for all.

Associate Professor, Head of Academic Development at the University of Lincoln
I have worked with many Assessment providers, but Melanie and her team are the most supportive and empathetic to the work that we are doing with our apprenticeship programme. They have been there every step of the way to provide advice and guidance on the Assessment process.
