Hi, I’m Melanie, the Founder and Managing Director of Elevate. With over 20 years experience within the education sector, I bring a rich blend of academic expertise, hands-on experience, and a deep passion for inclusive learning. My journey includes more than 15 years as a Senior Academic Professional in Higher Education, where I specialised in assessment and curriculum design.

My extensive experience in the education sector has equipped me with a broad perspective, from crafting innovative curricula to implementing robust assessment frameworks. These insights shape our approach at Elevate, where we celebrate creativity and innovation in all our assessments.

I believe in the transformative power of education and am committed to providing apprentices the best possible experience. At Elevate, we view end-point assessment not just as a formal check but as a pivotal moment that shapes apprentices' professional identities and prepares them for their careers.

On a personal note, my decade-long work in community development, focusing on children, young people, and families, has profoundly influenced Elevates' dedication to making a positive community impact. As an Ofqual-recognised End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO), Elevate plays a pivotal role in the final stages of an apprentice's journey.

End Point Assessment (EPA) marks the culmination of an apprentice's training, occurring after they have completed all on-programme learning and passed through the Gateway stage. Elevate conducts assessments outlined in the apprenticeship standard-specific End Point Assessment Plans. These assessments are crucial in determining whether apprentices have attained the required competencies for their chosen profession.
